Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement ServiceNow application modules, workflows, catalog requests, and custom applications.
- Define ServiceNow data tables, user interfaces, business logic, widgets, client-side scripts, server-side scripts, and ITSM functionality.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST and SOAP web service APIs.
- Manage multiple ServiceNow instances, major releases, patches, SDLC release processes, and code deployment.
- Configure applications, workflows, UI elements, and platform settings across development, testing, staging, sandbox, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving custom applications, integrations, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support and continuously improve processes, standards, tools, and working methods.
- Evaluate application software packages, integration tools, and testing tools and estimate work effort requirements.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of relevant ServiceNow Developer experience.
- At least 3 to 5 years of coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, custom applications, integrations, Service Portal, CSM, CMDB, asset management, change management, contract management, resource management, and ITFM.
- Experience with ServiceNow version upgrades, releases, patches, workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions.
- Experience developing ServiceNow functionality using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Experience with scripted REST APIs, SOAP, enterprise integration architecture, and enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with SOAP UI or comparable tools for testing SOAP and REST web service APIs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ServiceNow administrator certification is suggested; implementation specialist, application developer, and ServiceNow micro-certifications are advantageous.
