Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements for Agoda’s self-built infrastructure management system.
- Build tools and scripts that interact with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other infrastructure components.
- Work on infrastructure scalability, reliability, automation, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues across core infrastructure components.
- Contribute to systems supporting virtualization, multi-tenant compute, software-defined networking and storage, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Currently studying toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Some university-level programming experience in a modern programming language, preferably Go or Python.
- Basic knowledge of Git and Docker.
- Comfort working in the Linux command line and with Bash scripting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with English as the working language.
- Self-driven, willing to learn, and able to demonstrate ownership.
- Preferred: experience with GitLab or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, YAML, advanced Docker, Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and large-scale resilient systems.
