Responsibilities
- Complete onboarding courses for the assigned Data Platform team.
- Work with a mentor to select and develop an internship project.
- Take a project from ideation through proof of concept, testing, production readiness, deployment, debugging, and automation.
- Build dashboards and ship production code while working with large-scale distributed systems and TB-to-PB data volumes.
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing an IT-related, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
- Be proficient in at least one of Go or Python.
- Have strong English speaking and writing skills.
- Demonstrate good communication, fast learning, a positive and open attitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge or experience with Kubernetes, Apache Hive, or Apache Iceberg is preferred.
