Responsibilities
- Complete onboarding for the assigned Data Platform team.
- Choose components to work on based on interests and collaborate with a mentor on an internship project.
- Develop a project through the full lifecycle, including ideation, proof of concept, testing, dashboard creation, production readiness, deployment, debugging, and automation.
- Work with large-scale data infrastructure, distributed systems, and production software.
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing an IT-related, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
- Be proficient in at least one of Go or Python.
- Have strong English speaking and writing skills.
- Demonstrate good communication, fast learning, a positive and open attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge or experience with Kubernetes, Apache Hive, or Apache Iceberg is preferred.
