Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement improvements to Agoda’s internal infrastructure platform and self-built infrastructure management system.
- Build tools and scripts that interact with OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and other infrastructure components.
- Address scaling, reliability, automation, performance troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization challenges.
- Contribute ideas and develop solutions for Agoda’s large-scale infrastructure platform.
Requirements
- Currently studying toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Some university-level programming experience in a modern programming language, preferably Go or Python.
- Basic knowledge of Git and Docker.
- Comfort working in the Linux command-line environment, including Bash scripting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with English as the working language.
- Experience with GitLab or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, YAML or Bash configuration, advanced Docker, and resilient large-scale systems is beneficial.
