Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall and Route 53 Profiles features across control plane, data plane, APIs, and service integrations.
- Develop DNS threat-detection models, filtering capabilities, security metrics, and protections against new and agentic attacks.
- Work with customers, internal stakeholders, external partners, and AWS service teams on requirements and integration designs.
- Architect reliable, scalable distributed systems and improve configurability for enterprise customers.
- Drive engineering best practices, quality, and system operations while coaching junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3 or more years across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
