Responsibilities
- Translate complex customer and technical requirements into software designs.
- Influence feature and enhancement prioritization.
- Develop and deliver high-quality software improvements and features.
- Participate in architecture decisions and design reviews.
- Own platform operations and system robustness at scale.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Network Development Engineers to demonstrate and iterate on solutions.
- Monitor system health, investigate customer issues, and improve reliability.
- Contribute code to alarms, optimization algorithms, and new system features.
- Share technical knowledge across the Internet Edge Services organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
