Base Salary
$154k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale in-house CI/CD systems to support higher pull-request throughput and a more efficient engineering organization.
- Build AI-enabled workflows, deployment safeguards, production validation, automated rollbacks, and response systems.
- Develop observability, evaluation, and feedback systems for AI-driven automation.
- Design AI-native software delivery workflows that reduce developer toil and improve engineering throughput.
- Orchestrate multiple AI agents to handle complex, repeatable engineering tasks.
- Partner with product engineering teams to make safe AI-enabled delivery practices easy to adopt.
- Provide technical leadership and direction while converting successful experiments into company-wide platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and building products on software engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience on developer experience, CI/CD, and/or platform engineering teams.
- Experience building AI workflows, orchestration systems, or other AI harnesses.
- Experience architecting CI/CD systems, build and deploy platforms, and automated response workflows using Buildkite or equivalent software.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise software applications and maintaining an organization-wide software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience implementing AI-driven automation across the SDLC and routinely applying AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Strong coding experience in Go, Python, or an equivalent language, focused on infrastructure, deployment, and operations.
- Strong leadership, technical vision, and direction-setting skills.
- Experience building in-house CI/CD systems is preferred.
- Experience building for FedRAMP, StateRAMP, or other compliance requirements is preferred.
