Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and test data for Guidewire solutions and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, and release validation testing.
- Create and maintain Playwright automation scripts and automated regression suites.
- Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and testing across internal, external, and cross-functional teams.
- Perform environment validation, test data preparation, and deployment verification.
- Produce QA reports, test evidence, quality metrics, risk updates, and release-readiness status reports.
- Analyze defect trends, contribute to root cause analysis, and support continuous quality improvements.
- Provide testing guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to junior team members when needed.
- Participate in PI Planning, sprint activities, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt activities.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- At least 3 years of Guidewire testing experience, primarily with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Experience with Rally and Playwright.
- Experience with API testing, integrations validation, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience leading testing efforts across large transformation initiatives and coordinating UAT, integration, end-to-end, and release testing.
- Strong knowledge of Business Insurance products, workflows, underwriting, policy administration, integrations, and related business processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written, listening, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Guidewire testing certification required.
