Base Salary

$200k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the geocoder’s data foundation, including location-data modeling, consistency, and reliable serving.
  • Build pipelines that combine commercial and open data sources to expand geocoding coverage and quality across U.S. and international data.
  • Work across Scala, Python, and Rust and range from HorizonDB’s serving path to the Node.js/TypeScript API.
  • Introduce LLMs and agents into the data layer for enrichment, labeling, and quality with appropriate trust and safety guardrails.
  • Build systems supporting more than 1 billion API calls per day.
  • Talk with Radar customers and prospects, incorporate their feedback, and help make them successful.
  • Participate in the engineering on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Approach the role as a generalist engineer rather than being tied to one technology stack.
  • Be interested in speaking with customers and prospects and helping them succeed.
  • Bring deep curiosity, tenacity, and the ability to work through difficult technical problems.
  • Experience as a technical co-founder is a bonus.
  • Experience with high-throughput, high-growth SaaS applications is a bonus.
  • Experience with geospatial infrastructure is a bonus.
  • Experience building large-scale data pipelines or data-integration systems is a bonus.
  • Experience using LLMs in data or ML pipelines for enrichment, labeling, or evaluation is a bonus.
