Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple development teams.
- Automate complete infrastructure deployments using AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Manage infrastructure scripts and templates in GitHub with git version control.
- Manage EC2, Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scaling groups, S3 files and permissions, and CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and alerts.
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor servers and infrastructure for issues and troubleshoot Linux systems.
- Assist security teams with implementing security controls and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Experience managing Elastic Load Balancers and auto-scaling groups with AWS EC2.
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and alerts.
- Experience managing files and permissions in AWS S3.
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation and YAML templates.
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and Bash scripting experience.
- Experience setting up, building, and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Ansible for server automation and GitHub with git for Infrastructure as Code version control.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Desired experience with API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kubernetes infrastructure, and AWS certification.
