Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and execute automated GUI, functional, API, performance, and end-to-end tests for e-commerce sites.
- Build continuous integration environments and test harnesses for cross-browser and cross-operating-system testing.
- Develop and run test scenarios and scripts, and perform functional testing across browsers and production updates.
- Implement Playwright-based test automation and ensure comprehensive automated regression coverage.
- Promote quality and DevOps practices by embedding with teams and building automated enterprise solutions.
- Mentor analysts and engineering team members and provide peer-level technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of quality engineering experience in web environments.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Ability to write robust test automation using the Playwright JavaScript framework.
- At least 2 years of experience with continuous integration servers such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience planning, developing, or collaborating on test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Experience with Git, Git Flow, pull requests, and other distributed version control concepts.
- Knowledge of browsers, operating systems, mobile form factors, XML, and JSON.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
