Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and implement solutions that improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and health.
- Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and internal developer platforms.
- Improve observability and reliability across distributed systems by introducing tools and building platform features.
- Partner with engineering teams to optimize AWS spending and implement cost-effective cloud infrastructure strategies.
- Monitor systems, identify issues proactively, and resolve them before they affect users.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in SRE or DevOps-related roles.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code tools, CI/CD tools, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
- Strong programming background in Python, Go, or C++.
- Ability to understand ambiguous goals and convert them into software requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience includes autonomous-vehicle or robotics industry work, Bazel or monorepo tooling, P0/P1 on-call support, and AI/LLM integration involving Model Context Protocol servers.
