Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical direction and leadership for rapid prototypes and structured platform development.
  • Advance Darktrace’s methodology for defending against unknown cyberattacks.
  • Develop strategic vision for specialized technical areas and align it with business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop team members across programming and technology competencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies and drive organizational outcomes.
  • Communicate technical strategies, project progress, and company initiatives to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Extensive programming expertise and the ability to architect and deliver production-quality solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of or deep interest in cybersecurity and malware forensics.
  • Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
  • Proficiency with Docker and familiarity with cloud computing environments.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Rust, and C++.
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make strategic decisions, and collaborate effectively.
