Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications and CAD automation/add-ins using C#/.NET, WinForms, and WPF.
- Conduct code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Develop unit tests and participate in system and integration testing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, architectural diagrams, and code documentation.
- Troubleshoot software defects and improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects.
- Participate in designs, HLDs, LLDs, architectures, and estimation of PBIs, stories, and tasks.
- Demonstrate newly developed features and contribute to project documentation, mockups, wireframes, and test cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MCA, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience developing Windows desktop applications with C#, WinForms, WPF, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Hands-on knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns, database design, and database optimization.
- Experience with CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is preferred; CAD automation or customization experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer graphics, mathematics, 3D geometry, or computational geometry is preferred.
- Experience with SQL or MySQL and with system, integration, and unit testing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience using version-control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or SVN.
- Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, project documentation, Microsoft tools, mockups, wireframes, and test-case design is desirable.
