Responsibilities
- Transform designs and product vision into working frontend applications.
- Develop, test, review, deploy, monitor, and maintain IT products throughout their lifecycle.
- Build responsive web and mobile experiences using JavaScript frameworks and libraries, particularly React.
- Write unit, integration, functional, performance, resilience, security, and end-user automation tests.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, refinements, retrospectives, demos, and other agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with designers, subject matter experts, and the Product Owner to clarify user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Improve continuous delivery processes and resolve incidents and problems affecting managed IT products.
- Set up application environments, deploy products to infrastructure, and implement required changes.
Requirements
- Past experience as a frontend developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications.
- Expert experience with HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Mobile development experience using native or web-to-native tooling and frameworks.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, specifically React.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working on cross-functional agile teams preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
- Openness to learning new technologies and working outside the current knowledge or skill set.
