Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and design decisions for robotic software systems covering perception, navigation, motor control, reasoning, and human-robot interaction.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex software systems from design through production deployment and operational excellence.
- Collaborate across research, machine learning, hardware, and operations teams to deliver integrated robotics solutions.
- Define technical roadmaps and drive innovation in robotic software development.
- Build production-level SDKs for developer use.
- Design and implement systems and tools that accelerate development velocity for multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multithreaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
