Base Salary
$210k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of core platform services and APIs.
- Build platform capabilities that enhance product and AI engineering leverage.
- Define architecture for product capabilities across various environments.
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI leaders to translate customer needs into platform investments.
- Drive initiatives to improve product velocity and system reliability.
- Establish standards for service design and platform integration.
- Maintain and evolve the internal developer platform.
- Mentor engineers and elevate platform engineering standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on product-facing platforms.
- Strong product instincts and a history of shipping impactful platform capabilities.
- Deep experience in designing APIs and shared systems.
- Fluency with modern cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record as a technical leader across multiple teams.
- Excellent judgment on platform development priorities.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and code review skills.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team alignment.
