Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade Android applications using Kotlin.
- Design and implement intuitive, responsive mobile interfaces for various workflows.
- Integrate backend APIs for insurance and financial services.
- Contribute to mobile features that leverage AI-assisted capabilities.
- Optimize application performance and efficiency across devices.
- Implement analytics and user behavior tracking to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with backend, product, design, and AI/ML teams throughout development.
- Ensure stability, scalability, and security of production mobile systems.
- Continuously improve engineering standards and mobile best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of Android architecture components and modern practices.
- Proven experience shipping production Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with mobile performance tuning and debugging.
- Exposure to AI-enabled mobile features is a plus.
- Experience with on-device ML frameworks like TensorFlow Lite is a bonus.
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail and product quality.
- Published apps on the Google Play Store are an advantage.
