Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, tooling, and shared frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and developer experience.
- Analyze and optimize application code at the UI and infrastructure layers, including memory footprint, package size, startup time, and rendering performance.
- Design and develop reusable, scalable mobile components for iOS and Android.
- Partner with product engineering teams to deliver infrastructure solutions, establish best practices, and drive technical standards.
- Drive architecture innovations for large-scale mobile application development.
- Optimize project structure and engineering workflows to improve productivity, quality, and release velocity.
- Apply AI coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development, improve code quality, and translate solutions across iOS and Android.
- Evaluate mobile platform and toolchain developments and adopt useful innovations.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of native iOS or Android development experience, including substantial infrastructure, platform, or architecture work.
- Deep expertise in iOS with Swift, Objective-C, or C++, or Android with Kotlin, Java, or Jetpack, plus confidence contributing across both platforms.
- Active use of AI engineering tools, including building AI-assisted workflows, curating domain knowledge bases, and codifying repeatable agent skills for tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Production experience optimizing memory footprint, package size, startup time, and UI rendering performance at scale.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and the mobile SDK layer for scalable, high-performance components.
- Working knowledge of remote APIs, concurrency, layouts, transitions, animations, client-side persistence, and mobile architectural patterns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate globally and independently deliver large-scale engineering outcomes.
- Preferred experience in dedicated mobile architecture or infrastructure teams, performance optimization, toolchain engineering, automated testing frameworks, design-pattern standardization, or production infrastructure spanning iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with React Native or Flutter and experience in fintech, crypto, or high-scale consumer applications are preferred.
