Responsibilities
- Develop new features for the OKX iOS and Android application as part of a global mobile team.
- Design and build scalable mobile systems from architecture through production launch.
- Drive application performance optimization, user experience, and reliability at scale.
- Collaborate with product, design, and international engineering teams to deliver localized features while maintaining architectural consistency.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and translate solutions across iOS and Android.
- Evaluate emerging mobile technologies and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence and ownership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of native iOS or Android development experience with a record of shipping production-quality mobile code at scale.
- Deep expertise in iOS with Swift/Objective-C or Android with Kotlin/Java, plus confidence contributing across both platforms.
- Experience using AI tools in engineering workflows, including AI-leveraged workflows, domain knowledge bases, and repeatable agent skills for tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mobile performance optimization.
- Comfort with TDD, CI/CD, and Scrum.
- Strong communication skills for global, cross-functional collaboration and articulating technical trade-offs.
- Preferred experience across both iOS and Android in production environments.
- Preferred familiarity with React Native, Flutter, or Lua.
- Fintech, crypto, high-scale consumer application, DeFi protocol, wallet integration, or on-chain data experience is beneficial.
