Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts to deliver innovative storage solutions.
- Support the creation and operations of distributed systems.
- Program in Go and other languages.
- Collaborate with a motivated team of peers.
- Contribute to and consume from free/open source software communities.
- Solve interesting problems in a technically rewarding environment.
Requirements
- Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software using modern tools and languages, particularly Go.
- Proven ability to automate, operate, and troubleshoot production systems.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and storage fundamentals.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of concurrency and parallelism models in modern programming languages.
- Relevant domain experience with technologies such as Ceph, S3, and block storage.
- Strong communication skills to lead discussions on architecture and design.
