$185k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with photonics, analog, digital, systems, and network experts to define control architecture for photonic interconnect products.
- Drive software and firmware validation testing for photonic products.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using GDB, JTAG, and logic analyzers.
- Help define product architecture, validation test plans, requirements, and usability criteria.
- Gather, analyze, and report validation data while supporting software stack optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ASIC firmware validation.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and practical knowledge of embedded-system communication, control, peripherals, and buses.
- Experience developing embedded software and commercial or enterprise-level software and firmware on Linux.
- Experience with Git and CMake for building and managing software projects.
- Proficiency with Python, C, C++, and MongoDB.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, CMIS, OpenBMC, validation and reliability/FIT testing, optical test and measurement, and photonic transceiver firmware.
