Responsibilities
- Apply software development practices to build robust and maintainable software.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Build and deploy scalable AI and software solutions for real-world business challenges.
- Optimize algorithm and software performance and computational efficiency.
- Work directly with clients and BCG X teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, consultants, and clients on software design and solution ideas.
- Contribute to BCG X’s AI engineering knowledge and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming and software engineering foundations with proficiency in Python and/or other relevant languages.
- Exposure to machine learning, AI, GenAI/LLMs, data analytics, or statistical modeling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing technology, AI, or data solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and learning agility.
- Relevant technical internships, AI/startup experience, or 0-to-1 product-building experience is a plus.
