Responsibilities
- Maintain reliable, scalable, and secure production environments.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
- Define and track SLIs/SLOs and support error budget practices.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize system performance, availability, and capacity.
- Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and incident documentation in Confluence.
- Follow change management, deployment governance, and disaster recovery standards.
- Support critical production service incident response.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Manage incidents and changes using ServiceNow and JIRA, and collaborate through Slack.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Strong Java experience.
- Experience with observability tools including Splunk and ELK.
- Cloud fundamentals.
- Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, logging, and production system reliability.
- Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Product Owners, Operations, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
