Responsibilities
- Own the full software development life cycle for SAP products in the Enterprise Applications portfolio.
- Design and develop OpenText applications using SAP ABAP, RICEF objects, Dialog Programming, OOP, Workflow, RAP, and UI5/Fiori.
- Analyze defects reported by QA or customer support, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Perform unit and integration testing for developed functionality.
- Create documentation describing product and subsystem architectures.
- Refactor code for improved performance and scalability.
- Coordinate and lead development activities with a team of developers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of development experience with SAP ABAP OOP, Dialog Programming, ABAP Workflow, and testing.
- Required experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with OData, CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP.
- SAP UI5/Fiori experience; SAP BTP experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as a self-directed team player and learn new tools and technologies.
- Agile software development experience, including Iterative, XP, or Scrum, is a strong plus.
