Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and MSSQL.
- Provide L2 production support for containerized applications while meeting SLA requirements.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement permanent fixes for recurring incidents and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Support deployments, releases, and application configuration in Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor application health, analyze logs, and collaborate with business, infrastructure, and DevOps teams during incidents and releases.
- Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor and coach junior developers and interact directly with clients.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java/J2EE application development and AMS support experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on MSSQL experience including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience developing containerized applications deployed with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed microservices environments.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
- Understanding of incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Strong communication skills and direct client interaction experience.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK, or Grafana is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline required; master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
