Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade ML training pipelines from feature engineering through model testing, validation, evaluation, and promotion.
- Train and optimise recommendation, ranking, user-segmentation, and content-analysis models at significant production scale.
- Deploy and operate models using TensorFlow Serving, Triton Inference Server, TorchServe, or comparable serving infrastructure.
- Monitor model quality, accuracy, latency, availability, and efficiency in production and drive continuous improvements.
- Build scalable data pipelines for feature engineering and model training across structured and unstructured datasets.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and offline experiments to evaluate model quality.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams in a global, multifunctional environment.
- Evaluate emerging ML, MLOps, and Generative AI research for potential use in personalisation systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience across the full ML lifecycle, including pipeline development, model training, testing, deployment, serving, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Production experience with TFX, Kubeflow Pipelines SDK, or Airflow-orchestrated training pipelines.
- Production experience with TensorFlow Serving, Triton Inference Server, TorchServe, or similar model-serving technologies.
- Experience deploying ML models at meaningful scale with high-volume real-world traffic and measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ML infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
- Strong understanding of recommendation-system design and personalisation algorithms.
- Experience with high-volume data processing and streaming architectures.
- Good communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Generative AI experience in a production ML context is desirable.
