Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions while leading design and delivery activities.
- Deliver e-Invoicing work within Oracle R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud environments as a hands-on contributor, progressing to ownership of full workstreams.
- Apply Oracle AR/AP expertise, including intercompany transactions and related tax impacts, to solution design and issue resolution.
- Configure and unit test e-Invoicing in Oracle host systems and configure Oracle-side integrations with third-party tax platforms.
- Design test scenarios, troubleshoot Oracle issues, and independently resolve issues while escalating matters requiring broader review.
- Document technical decisions, testing outcomes, open issues, project status, and technical tradeoffs for onshore leads and client stakeholders.
- Progress work during offshore hours while maintaining approximately one hour of daily overlap with the onshore team for handoffs and blocker resolution.
- Expand delivery scope into tax calculation and compliance offerings and help establish offshore hiring frameworks, standards, and delivery playbooks.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience is required; the qualifications also specify 10+ years in tax technology, ERP implementation, or financial systems consulting.
- Bachelor's degree and 15 years of full-time education are stated as educational qualifications.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle R12 AR and AP and Oracle Fusion Cloud AR and AP is required.
- Applied understanding of intercompany transaction flows and related tax treatment across AR and AP is required.
- Demonstrated experience owning client delivery work with independent technical judgment is required.
- Experience working in offshore or distributed delivery models, preferably supporting onshore U.S.-based teams or clients, is preferred.
- Working knowledge of e-Invoicing regulations, tax compliance requirements, financial processes, API technologies, and ERP-to-tax-platform integration patterns is required or expected.
- Mentoring, training, team-building, or delivery-function setup experience is a strong plus.
- Strong asynchronous communication, documentation, collaboration, and issue-escalation judgment are expected.
