Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and governance of Microsoft .NET applications and Azure-based solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures using Azure services and enterprise data platforms.
- Drive legacy application modernization and migration to cloud-native and containerized environments.
- Define and oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, engineering governance, and architecture reviews.
- Mentor engineers and technical leaders while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support operational excellence through incident management, root-cause analysis, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- 13+ years of experience in Microsoft application development and solution architecture, including 4+ years delivering Azure cloud solutions.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Azure technologies, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing enterprise applications, APIs, integration platforms, and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, relational databases, and modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, Vue, or Blazor.
- Expertise in architectural patterns, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, GenAI solution development, prompt orchestration, RAG architectures, responsible AI governance, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ETL, and enterprise data platforms.
