Base Salary
$164k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and automation for reliable operations of various databases.
- Manage and operate large-scale Amazon Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL clusters.
- Perform database maintenance tasks including upgrades and patching.
- Monitor and analyze database performance using AWS tools.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of database services.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for database operations.
- Collaborate with application development teams for database architecture guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
