Base Salary
$201k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement foundational patterns and libraries for Python applications.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for reproducible environment setups.
- Develop infrastructure for applications hosted on AWS, including event-driven systems and containerized services.
- Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Automate the lifecycle management of code from development to production.
- Instrument observability to monitor and optimize application performance.
- Scale infrastructure to meet demand while managing costs effectively.
- Define and measure standards for quality, security, scalability, and availability.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience in a platform engineering team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Keen interest in developing talent through mentorship.
- Experience with RPC architecture and evolving platform maturity is a plus.
