Base Salary
$123k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable and available software systems for a satellite-based global Internet service provider network.
- Design and implement a fault-tolerant network that operates with minimal maintenance at scale.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop prototypes to validate key design concepts and assess technical constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field, or 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Development experience in C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with high performance systems and distributed systems.
- Strong networking knowledge of TCP/IP and modern networking protocols.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux systems engineering and administration.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
