Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot, verify, and validate bug fixes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive bug reports and status updates.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews and provide QA input.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and automation strategies.
- Stay current with software testing tools, practices, and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, usability, and other testing types.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases.
- Familiarity with testing tools, platforms, test management tools, version control systems, and Agile development practices.
- Software testing certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are advantageous.
- Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Mumbai-based candidates only, with preference for Western Line residents.
- Candidates should be immediate joiners or have a notice period of no more than 30 days.
