Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain build and release pipelines.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate with R&D, development, quality assurance, and project management teams to support seamless integration and delivery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Maintain and improve build scripts and tools.
- Ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
- Document build and release processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science, or a DEC in computer science with relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in software configuration management, release management, DevOps, development, or an equivalent field.
- Working experience with YAML pipelines and a cloud platform such as Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, primarily PowerShell.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Portainer.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment and troubleshooting services, the registry, and event logs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and occasionally work outside normal hours.
- Asset qualifications include MSBuild, XAML, Linux system administration, IIS, Nginx, Terraform, IT help desk experience, InstallShield, WiX, NuGet, npm, and Microsoft SQL Server.
