Senior Staff Software Engineer (Integrations)

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop integrations connecting Reach to multiple external providers and ingesting large amounts of data
- Execute complex backend software engineering projects involving APIs, data processing, infrastructure, and platform systems
- Drive key engineering initiatives and foster technical excellence
- Author technical proposals for complex project design and team alignment
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and business impact
- Mentor team members, establish engineering best practices, and take ownership of backend systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend, platform, or system programming
- Strong experience with Python and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in distributed system design and large-scale data architecture
- Proficiency in authorization and authentication patterns and secure management of sensitive data
- Ability to identify business needs and communicate a clear implementation vision
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Experience designing and building secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS platforms with data isolation
- Experience with third-party data ingestion and integrations, batch or streaming data pipelines, and production cloud providers is preferred
