Base Salary
$85k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices for geospatial data processing, visualization, and analysis.
- Implement scalable and high-performance solutions for mission-focused systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and their interactions.
- Integrate external APIs and libraries to provide geospatial functionality.
- Support geospatial ETL, analysis, and visualization services for mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with four additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working with Java.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, self-management, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred experience with geospatial libraries and tools such as GDAL and GeoTools.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS and exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
