Base Salary

$159k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Protect and secure Amazon authentication and authorization workflows across global business units.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, threat modeling, secure design consultations, and security code reviews for identity systems.
  • Implement and maintain automated SAST/DAST security audits and compliance reporting.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and guidance for identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, and deprovisioning.
  • Deploy and validate authentication configurations for Amazon-owned endpoints in collaboration with Business Security Teams.
  • Create Python scripts and other automation for reporting, security operations, and IAM audits.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, investigate, and remediate identity security events and alerts.
  • Collect and analyze data and communicate security findings and recommendations to teams and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command-line tools.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
  • Preferred experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
  • Preferred experience with AWS products and services and security activities across software development lifecycle phases such as design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing.
