Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications aligned with business functional and technical requirements.
- Design and implement microservices and event-driven architecture components.
- Develop highly available and scalable APIs and integrations.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis through implementation and support.
- Apply secure programming, refactoring, continuous improvement, and technical-debt reduction practices.
- Conduct code reviews and promote development standards.
- Design testing strategies and ensure adequate unit-test coverage.
- Optimize queries, data structures, and integration components.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents in production environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and semi-senior developers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience, including Java, microservices, cloud solutions, and highly available enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience with Java 11 and Java 17.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JDBC, JPA, and Quarkus.
- Knowledge of reactive programming using Reactor, WebFlux, or RxJava.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Experience with Maven and/or Gradle.
- Experience writing unit tests, performing code reviews, and applying version-control and branching strategies.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, including knowledge of Saga and CQRS patterns.
- Experience optimizing relational databases and knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of functional programming, reactive programming, UML, solution modeling, Groovy, and YAML.
- Experience with secure development and knowledge of code-quality and refactoring tools.
