Responsibilities
- Design and lead implementation of integrations between internal or commercial software and HRIS systems.
- Design and lead implementation of new features for the HRIS integration suite.
- Investigate techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing integrations.
- Provide sprint-based task progress updates.
- Resolve bug reports and escalated support requests quickly and efficiently.
- Gather requirements with business analysts, finance, and software developers and translate them into architectural and feature specifications.
- Write software documentation and technical specifications and maintain troubleshooting playbooks.
- Communicate development plans and complex technical information to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Coordinate with remote teams in different time zones.
Requirements
- 6+ years of non-intern professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience with human resources information systems.
- 4+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Knowledge of software development processes, including coding standards, version control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent subject, or equivalent work experience.
- Eagerness to tackle problems directly.
