Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Quarkus backend REST API.
- Develop and enhance the React frontend, including UI components.
- Evolve the database schema and ORM layer for PostgreSQL.
- Implement and maintain the contract submission state machine workflow.
- Extend the role-based access control system with fine-grained permissions.
- Build and maintain containerized deployments using Podman.
- Integrate PDF generation and OCR features for document processing.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Participate in requirements analysis and translate use cases into working software.
- Maintain and improve project documentation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams on deployment configurations.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java 21 and modern language features.
- Experience with Quarkus 3.x framework.
- Proficient in RESTful API design and versioning.
- Familiarity with Hibernate ORM with Panache.
- Experience with JWT for role-based security.
- Proficient in React 19 and related frontend technologies.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL scripting.
- Familiarity with container management using Podman.
- Experience with PDF processing and OCR technologies.
- Proficient in unit and integration testing with JUnit 5.
