Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Write code to automate functional, regression, backend, API, and UI tests.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review developer code to ensure testability and identify issues.
- Perform load, stress, and security testing for application safety.
- Identify, log, and track software defects to resolution.
- Lead QA strategy and mentor junior/mid-level SDETs and QA engineers.
- Promote best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Reflect.
- Expertise in API testing using Postman or Rest Assured and SQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
