Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain C#/.NET Core backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Optimize, design, audit, and govern SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, complex queries, indexes, schemas, and data integrity.
- Develop scalable user interfaces using JavaScript, Angular or React, and SASS/SCSS.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, API latency, frontend issues, and database deadlocks across the full stack.
- Manage Git workflows, CI/CD automation, containerized environments, and deployments using Docker, IIS, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, document technical designs, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, senior leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or data-driven application development.
- At least 4 years of strong SQL Server experience with complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, auditing, tuning, and large-scale data logic.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including production Web APIs and services.
- Experience with JavaScript, Angular or React, CSS, SASS/SCSS, component-based UI architectures, and web accessibility standards.
- Understanding of RESTful architecture, OAuth 2, JWT, authentication and authorization, and application security standards.
- Advanced Git experience and practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, IIS, or Google Cloud/Azure environments.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with tools such as xUnit or Vitest.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical field experience.
- Highly preferred: experience in healthcare, finance, compliance analytics, or other regulated or data-sensitive environments.
- Strong systems thinking, analytical problem-solving, documentation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
