Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, reliable, high-performing, and platform-independent cloud and SaaS solutions.
- Develop organization-wide architecture guidelines and best practices.
- Contribute to solution designs incorporating AI capabilities, intelligent services, and automation.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, guidance, and architectural support to platform development teams.
- Conduct technical assessments and proofs of concept and evaluate design and implementation approaches.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, processes, decisions, and best practices.
- Monitor advances in software architecture and cloud computing and initiate improvements.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 9 years of professional object-oriented software development experience using C++ or .NET, particularly C#.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MS SQL, Cassandra, or Scylla.
- Experience with architectural and coding design patterns, distributed and highly available systems, service-oriented architecture, and containerization such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud management platforms and infrastructure automation tools is a plus.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with integrating or leveraging AI services or frameworks in software architectures is a plus.
- Structured and analytical working style, teamwork, motivation to learn, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German or additional languages are a plus.
