Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and consume REST APIs for scalable enterprise applications.
- Develop cloud-native and distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Implement secure, performant, and resilient services.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
- Integrate messaging solutions such as Kafka.
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Monitor application health using logging and monitoring tools.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Apply security, scalability, and reliability best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, and Maven.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
