Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services using Java, Python, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex features across multiple components and distributed systems.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform using its application, database, messaging, storage, and identity services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, database design, and reliability through tuning, automation, and engineering practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and infrastructure processes using Git, Harness, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analyses, implement preventive measures, and participate in on-call and incident management.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-based tools.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers and conduct code and design reviews.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in partnership with product, architecture, UX, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies while maintaining a focus on quality, security, and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise software applications.
- Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems with containerized and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, facilitating solution design discussions, and applying architecture and system design patterns.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Bash or shell scripting, plus Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Identity and Access Management.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, preferably Google Kubernetes Engine, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, and cloud database design and performance optimization.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git and automated deployment or infrastructure-management tools.
- Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing, production debugging, logging, monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with highly available distributed systems, event-driven architectures, streaming solutions, cloud security, production incident management, Harness, Puppet, Google Kubernetes Engine, and advanced observability.
