Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and operate real-time safeguards infrastructure in third-party CSP inference serving paths.
- Design and maintain data residency and privacy architecture for safeguards signals on CSP platforms.
- Develop telemetry, logging, and evaluation pipelines for situational awareness over CSP traffic.
- Identify low-impact points in the CSP serving stack for signal gathering and interventions.
- Own on-call responsibilities and drive root-cause analyses for safeguards incidents.
- Collaborate with research, policy, and enforcement teams to implement production enforcement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4–10+ years of experience in high-scale, high-reliability software development.
- Proficient in Python and comfortable working across the software stack.
- Ability to think adversarially and design multi-layered defenses.
- Experience scaling infrastructure for rapid traffic growth while maintaining performance.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in the transformative effects of advanced AI systems and commitment to their safe development.
