Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test production-grade Kubernetes operators and controllers for CNF, service, infrastructure provisioning, test automation, and Helm-based lifecycle management.
- Define reconciliation logic, status and event handling, finalizers, and idempotent resilient controllers using Go and controller-runtime, Kubebuilder, or Operator SDK.
- Design and implement Configuration-as-Data templates, environment-specific rendering, Git-based workflows, shared parameter models, and configuration builders.
- Create and optimize multi-environment and multi-cluster GitOps repositories with FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize overlays, release templates, release definitions, and inventory CRDs.
- Develop and test automated CNF lifecycle functionality including upgrades, dependency management, scaling, and teardown.
- Implement integrations with Kafka, Logging Operator, Telegraf, Vault/ESO, and Artifactory.
- Build observability features covering logs, events, metrics, error handling, retry, and backoff.
- Implement security and compliance integrations including RBAC, secret handling, image and chart provenance, and policy alignment.
- Develop project-specific GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, and release to Artifactory.
- Produce architecture, API, runbook, application, and user documentation for target solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable STEM program.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in software development.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, ideally Go or Python.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, reconciliation patterns, finalizers, and RBAC.
- Solid experience with GitOps, Helm or Kustomize, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Proven expertise in software architecture.
- Business-fluent English skills.
