Responsibilities

  • Support DevOps teams and embedded software programs across the full software development life cycle.
  • Implement and improve build automation, continuous integration, source code management, static analysis, pipeline standardization, build reproducibility, artifact management, and automation-first development.
  • Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot build and integration failures, and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
  • Support embedded software release management, including versioning, baseline management, and audit readiness.
  • Align development workflows with internal engineering processes, security expectations, and product quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, root cause analysis, and process and tooling enhancements.
  • Collaborate with embedded software engineers, test engineers, architects, product managers, and quality teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and software build and test automation.
  • Experience with GitLab for source code management, collaboration workflows, and repository governance.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
  • Experience supporting embedded software or firmware development teams, including embedded build, integration, and release challenges.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python, Groovy, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving pipeline, tooling, and integration issues.
  • Experience working with global team members on multi-campus product development.
  • Working knowledge of agile software development and collaboration in Scrum or SAFe-style delivery environments.
