Responsibilities
- Own camera systems end to end, including vendor requirements and hardware bring-up.
- Work with camera vendors to define requirements for custom cameras.
- Develop and maintain low-level camera software and drivers.
- Debug camera issues across the hardware/software boundary.
- Design low-latency camera pipelines for real-time robotic systems.
- Build high-level APIs for camera data exposure.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure camera stack reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with embedded camera systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for Linux or performance-sensitive systems.
- Experience with camera interfaces and supporting hardware.
- Experience developing or modifying Linux camera drivers.
- Strong understanding of vision requirements for real-time systems.
- Experience with multi-camera synchronization and precise timing systems.
- Working knowledge of image sensors and imaging pipelines.
- Proficient with debugging tools and workflows.
